Warm without theatrics. It washes. It doesn't crackle. My week with it landed in the same place.The marks against it are in the reviews as well, and they are fair. Hot sleepers should take a lighter tog. All duvets resent the machine. This one less so. I scored it 8 out of 10. I am not averaging the star row. I am telling you what I kept.
